…I heard about a shooting in the middle of campus, didn’t know where my boyfriend was, had a minor panic attack, and realized that he is at work until 9 tonight. Too many emotions.

Although I’m relieved that Tyler’s not on campus, it’s still so sad to hear about someone losing their life, by their hands or by someone else’s. My thoughts are with the victim and his family, my friends who witnessed the shooting, and the rest of the university community. Just goes to show that this can happen anywhere at anytime. Some people are saying things like, “What can you expect when you live in North Philly?” Still. It’s a human life. Hopefully the situation will become clearer in the coming days.
